When will the merchants show that they care about P.G. more than for the money they rake in? If this is how they take care of their trash, how clean do you think the kitchens are? Are the food storage containers covered? Is the floor clean?

Small Update – A citizen turned this matter over the Monterey County Health department, who said that in the week of the 7th the businesses will be visited. Did it happen? If it did, it made little difference.

Pacific Grove police searched Stamm’s home and seized a laptop after Doe went to authorities in 2007. With the help of a forensic computer expert at the Salinas Police Department, Pesenhofer said, they learned that Stamm used a program called Evidence Eliminator to scrub files from the computer on June 12, 2007.
Despite efforts to erase files from the computer, Pesenhofer said, police found several pornographic photos of teenage boys and a video of two young male teens performing oral sex.

The ruling issued Thursday by a three-judge panel of the 6th District Court of Appeal slapped down an appeal filed by the Save Our Waterfront Committee.
The project, approved by the Monterey City Council in June 2004, calls for its own water supply from a desalination plant because the city has no more water available. The City Council volunteered to serve as the board of directors of the special district for the desalination plant.
The project, first proposed in 1997, calls for four buildings in a 92,000-square-foot complex on both sides of Cannery Row with shops,restaurant space, 38 market-rate condominiums and 13 low-cost housing units.

After visiting an open house one Sunday, they met a Realtor and were coaxed into making a full-price offer. Before they knew it, they were in contract to purchase an 863-square- foot, two-bedroom house for $609,000.
Their Realtor referred them to a mortgage representative, who took their application and suggested they go with the “stated income” format. They recall the phrase he used: “Your incomes need to match the home you are buying.” Apparently theirs did not, so he raised the income numbers by 40 percent.

Fliers have been posted in neighborhoods surrounding Monterey High School warning of a mountain lion sighting in early July.
The signs warn residents to be careful if they run into animals.
P.G. Farmers Market Stays Between 18th and Forest
By a 5-1 vote, the council upheld a previous approval of the farmers market by the city’s Planning Commission and denied an appeal launched by local veterinarian Jennifer Wernsing, who argued that the market would unfairly affect her practice.
