This is not a repeat from 2009
Monterey County District Attorney Jeannine Pacioni announced Friday that David Russell Stamm, 58, of Pacific Grove is charged with allegedly committing lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14 in 1998, 1999 and the summer of 2005.
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, the California Highway Patrol, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office arrested Stamm and he is currently in custody at the Monterey County Jail.
The charges are the result of an investigation commenced by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2018 by the Washington Field Office, assisted by the Pacific Grove Police Department and the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.
David Stamm Arrested Again For Lewd Acts With 12 And 13 Year Olds.
Blame the victim. It works for Dave Stamm.
Lance M. Mosher, 44, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of lewd acts with a minor and penetration with a foreign object, police said.
Mosher is accused of committing the acts in 2007, police said.
The complaint stemmed from a prior complaint by an unnamed individual and the acts were committed while Mosher was living in Pacific Grove, authorities said.
Mosher’s attorney, Juliet Peck, said the teen accusing her client of molestation may have a mental illness, which could explain the allegations.

Stamm, 47, exchanged brief hugs with well-wishers outside the courtroom, but kept his emotions in check, saying he was unsure how to feel.
“I have a lot of work to do. There’s a lot of damage control to be done, a lot of pieces of the puzzle that need to be put back together,” said the former owner of an indoor batting facility in Monterey and a miniature golf course in Pacific Grove. “I’m hoping to wake up tomorrow like Dorothy, and open my door and discover that life is all colorful again, and the black and gray will be gone.”
Interesting metaphor. (Ask Yahoo!)
Why is Judy Garland such a popular gay icon?
The gay and lesbian magazine The Advocate calls Judy Garland “an Elvis for homosexuals.” In more closeted times, gays used the term “friend of Dorothy” to refer to themselves in mixed company, in homage to Garland’s role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Today, Garland isn’t as well known among the younger gay generation, but she still holds a special place in the hearts of many.
Stamm Is Out
For the second time, the jury deadlocked on several charges that David Stamm molested a 14-year-old boy and showed him pornography. Stamm’s defense has said the alleged victim was 18-years-old at the time, and that the sexual encounters were consenual.
Stamm then said his life was like, “A broken bottle. There are many pieces I can pick up, but there are also many slivers that will still be missing.”
Maybe those slivers are in the victim . .
Stamm Trial II – Hung Jury II
Stamm trail II wallows in the muck.
A prosecutor and defense attorney presented contrasting accounts Monday of the relationship between former batting cages owner David Stamm and a young friend who became his accuser.
According to prosecutor Glenn Pesenhofer, Stamm took advantage of an awkward teenager trying to find his way in the world, molesting him while telling him he was gay.
Quite to the contrary, defense attorney Richard Rosen said. “Peter” was on a vendetta because Stamm rejected him after the two had a consensual affair when the younger man was 18.
Homo Sex, Lies & Heroin
Jury selection begins Monday in the second trial of accused child molester David Stamm, the former owner of indoor batting and miniature golf facilities on the Peninsula.
Stamm testified at his first trial that the relationship with his accuser, now 24, was consensual and did not begin until after the boy turned 18.
Don’t Forget David Stamm – New Trial Begins
The retrial of a former Peninsula businessman suspected of child molestation has been delayed until February. Prosecutor Glenn Pesenhofer said he requested the continuance to allow time to investigate new evidence against David Stamm.
Stamm testified at his first trial that the relationship with his accuser, by then 23, was consensual and did not begin until after the boy turned 18. The jury acquitted him of oral copulation of a person under the age of 18 but deadlocked on all other charges. Pesenhofer said jury selection is now set for Feb. 2, with testimony to begin Feb. 9.
New Evidence For 2nd Stamm Trial
The date for the second trial of a Monterey businessman accused of molesting a 14-year-old boy, showing him child pornography, and tampering with a witness, was rescheduled Wednesday to Feb. 2 —five weeks later than the original date — to allow the prosecution, the defense, and Superior Court Judge Terrance Duncan additional time to prepare.
Stamm To Be Retried On Child Molestation Charges
The link to the KSBW story has links to all of their reports on Stamm.
On the witness stand, Stamm said he had sex with the alleged victim on at least four occasions, but he said it was consensual and only happened after the alleged victim turned 18.
Stamm said that story started going around town and that’s when he offered to pay the alleged victim $5,000 to recant.
Stamm said he’s gay and he hid his homosexuality because if it got out he feared it would ruin a batting cages business he once owned.
Stamm Thought Being Homosexual Was Bad For The Business
David Stamm faced 10 counts of crimes related to a child. In deliberations since last Thursday, the jury did not reach a verdict in charges dealing with lewd acts on a child, including oral sex, dissuading a witness, and possessing child porn.
The jury did, however, decide that Stamm was not guilty on one charge of oral sex with a child under the age of 18. The Monterey County District Attorney’s office said more jurors were leaning toward guilty than not guilty on the other nine counts.
