Dreaming Of A Christmas Massacre, Mr. Wachs?

Trustee later hid the assault rifle behind a yippiekaeyay (missing the MF ending) banner. While somewhat humorous it’s over the line of tastefulness and conduct unbecoming of a school trustee

Many residents of the popular P.G. neighborhood go all out this time of year, decorating their homes with elaborate holiday-themed displays and light shows, which draws thousands of visitors to the neighborhood.
But one rooftop exhibit, featuring a machine-gun toting character and a dead guy, was all the buzz this week on social media.

Pacific Grove Unified School District trustee Mike Wachs is behind the display, which features a wooden cutout of actor Bruce Willis’ character, John McClane, in the 1988 movie “Die Hard”. The McClane cartoon, done in the style of The Simpsons animated series, is covered with blood and holds a machine gun. Other nearby displays include an exploding building and a dead man, both of which also depict scenes
from the movie.

Losers Keep On Losin’

Hello Loser

Wachs has not lived in P.G. long enough to contribute anything of substance. And Tina Rau was an embarrassment.

Pacific Grove Mayor Bill Peake’s appointments to the city’s boards and commissions raised some eyebrows when the list was released in an agenda report for the P.G. City Council meeting taking place tonight, Jan. 18. In one case, it appears he snubbed his political opponent in the Nov. 7 election, Mike Wachs.

The chair of the DEI Task Force, Tina Rau, was also rejected in her bid to remain on the task force, in a surprising move by Peake who rejected two other members who wanted to retain their seats. He did appoint one woman, Marie Hunter, who in her application called into question DEI principles.

Texas transplant fool (it’s the backwards hat) thought he could be mayor after living here 1 year. And the fools from Coast Weakly endorsed him?

Wachs

“It’s kind of a shock. I knew Mayor Peake would be a tough candidate to go up against,” said Wachs, who added that he hopes there is a large enough number of younger voices coming up in the future to lead the city.
Wachs, 40, entered late in the race “for his kids,” and said previously that he wants to help build a better city for them and future generations. Wachs came to Pacific Grove in 2021 from Houston with his wife and two young children. For the past two decades, his professional career has varied from creating billboards for sports teams to serving as an art director for venture capital-backed media startups.
