Another Chapter In “What The Heck Is Moe Ammar Talking About?

Article from KSBW about cities preparing for the rush of U.S. Open tourists.

In Pacific Grove, Moe Ammar said that businesses will stay open longer because of the U.S. Open.

“Typically, a lot of the stores in Pacific Grove would close at 5 to 5:30 p.m.,” Ammar said. “For the Open, they will stay open until 9 p.m., which is really great.”

Speak for yourself you clueless fool. Maybe the wine galleries, second hand clothing and rusty garden decor shops close at 5, but there is more to P.G. than them.

The first search warrant served on this peaceful medicine user is at KSBW.

When police arrived, Ryan’s family had blocked Jesse’s truck in the driveway and told police they believed Jesse had a history of abusing Ryan — abuse that had gone unreported — and they suggested Jesse had a drug operation because he didn’t have a job, but he seemed to have plenty of money.

The warrant also calls attention to Crow’s father — a physician — confirming that Dr. Crow runs a medical marijuana dispensary. The warrant said it operates out of Soledad.

Pot Smokers Protest On Lighthouse Ave

Standing in the street and on top of an old hippy VW. KSBW has several pictures on it’s site. Three out of the 5 are not even from Monterey. And one dog. They are not winning my sympathy.

Members of a Monterey cannabis club held a demonstration Monday afternoon, protesting a recent court order that prohibits them from dispensing medical marijuana at 554 Lighthouse Ave.

“We are trying to raise the public’s awareness in a positive manner,” Rowland said of the protest.

Jersey Swimmer Attempts To Swim Across Bay

Let’s give it up to the jellyfish for chasing the yankee away.

A New Jersey man will attempt something on the Central Coast that only one other person is known to have accomplished — a solo swim across Monterey Bay.

On Thursday, Bruckner Chase will jump in the water near the Santa Cruz wharf at 4 a.m. and try to swim roughly 25 miles to Lover’s Point in Pacific Grove.

Chase will have to overcome cold water, whales, jelly fish and sharks if he hopes to complete the swim.

FAIL 8/21

A little after 10 a.m. — more than six hours into his swim — Chase said cold water and jellyfish, which were biting him in the face and arms, got the best of his body and he knew it was time to stop.
