Synopsis: 14 year old victim was sexually assaulted.
Started with Attorney Richard Rosen. lol

The arraignment for a 26-year-old Seaside man accused of fatally stabbing the grandmother of his two children in Pacific Grove has been postponed for a second time.
Sunny Nguyen is scheduled to appear in court again on Dec. 21. His family needed more time to hire an attorney.
Have a real sound engineer in charge and the noise would not be so annoying. Feedback squeals and popping are heard well away from whatever event is going on. I’d replace the windows with dual pane if I could.
OK, so I’m a very senior citizen, but I had two preschool grandchildren to worry about. It was so loud that there were a few “eeeuuuooo” feedback bursts. I went to the “command center” tent and registered my complaint. Twice.
First, I got a smile and mumble indicating “It’s all right.” The second time I tried to get through to who appeared to be the sound engineer. I raised my voice to be heard above the din but was just waved off, like, “Get lost, old man!”

Pacific Grove police took Sunny Nguyen, the 26-year-old Seaside resident accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s mother to death in her 17 Mile Drive home late the night of Nov. 21, to Monterey County Jail Wednesday night after he was released from the San Jose trauma center where he underwent surgery for stab wounds of his own.
PGPD Chief Darius Engles said forensics experts will determine whether Nguyen’s injuries — including a deep laceration to his neck — were self-inflicted or resulted from a fight with the victim, 46-year-old Judith Salazar.
What will Moe turn it into and call it then? Stilwell’s Art Sale In The Park?

Stilwell’s Snow in the Park at Caledonia Park on Saturday will be the last such event with snow, said Chamber of Commerce president Mo Ammar.
“We will continue the event in the future,” he said, “but there will be no snow.”
Ready for another chapter. C’mon you two we are all waiting..
Christopher Cayce, the men’s attorney, argued that comments to the media by the Sheriff’s Office, which suggested that Kennaugh and Amadio were involved in insurance fraud or some other criminal enterprise, were such “egregious lies” that they amounted to criminal fraud.
He asked the court not to allow the Sheriff’s Office “use immunity for criminal conduct.”
Shapiro countered that Cayce was making “wonderful arguments not supported by the facts.”
The men claimed in the suit that the Sheriff’s Office didn’t seriously investigate the art theft, but instead sought to discredit Amadio because he was involved with the daughter of a man with influential ties to the department.
Shapiro said he will file a motion seeking that the men pay for the county’s attorney fees.
Cayce said, “It will be appealed.” He said he wasn’t surprised by the court’s ruling.
No real changes where the public smoking really shows such as the front of Hazaras & Juice ‘n’ Java – carry on, future cancer sufferers.

A city law tightening regulations for smoking in public places passed unanimously at its second reading Wednesday before the Pacific Grove City Council.
The ordinance stops short of banning smoking in outdoor dining areas or sidewalk tables, and allows smoking on the municipal golf course. It bans lighting up in city parks, beaches and recreation areas.
heh, heh. Richard Rosen
Sunny Nguyen, 26, is charged with murdering Judith Salazar Nov. 21. Salinas attorney Richard Rosen appeared with Nguyen on Tuesday and asked that his arraignment be continued to give Nguyen time to retain him or another lawyer.
Judge Adrienne Grover continued the case until Dec.7 and ordered the shackled Nguyen to have no contact with his ex-girlfriend or children.
Though Nguyen’s extensive tatoo “sleeve” was visible above his shackles, he showed no sign of knife wounds Tuesday.
Suspect must have had his head down, that slash across the neck doesn’t look like a shaving cut.

The preferred alternative remains a one-way, eastbound Lighthouse with two general traffic lanes and one lane dedicated to bicycles, buses and emergency vehicles.
City traffic engineer Rich Deal contends that controlling traffic speeds on city streets is easier with one-way traffic than with two-way, and cited Alvarado Street in downtown Monterey as an example.
But Alvarado street is not a main road into Pacific Grove. Reducing four lanes to two will not help ease traffic.
This is beginning to sound like a “Sustainable City” scheme, much like to stupid idea to reduce Pine Avenue to two traffic lanes in P.G. with exaggerated bicycle lanes no one needs. Until they take your freedoms away.
