Police say officers responded to Lovers Point to a report of a disturbance “involving several masked individuals and one person with a gun.” When they arrived, the victim was gone, but they were able to get information the suspects’ vehicles and the direction in which they fled. That led officers to make traffic stops on vehicles matching the descriptions of those that had fled the crime scene. However, because the male victim was not available to identify the people police detained, the occupants were released.
