This excellent establishment that served us carnivores well is no longer with us. Sorry to see it shut, it was one of the few reasons that drew me to the ‘Row. Especially pleasurable was seeing Midwest rubes be seated, look at the menu and then head for the door. My kind of place.
At least we still have had Henry’s BBQ. Very recommended, I mean a combo platter with FOUR different meats comes in at $18. That’s $3 less than a plate a noodles at Joe Rombi!

Still selling records after the passing of 8-track, cassette and into the age of compact disc and Ipods. A craigslist.org ad says the whole thing can be bought for $200,000. Better check the new arrivals bin one more time for a ‘butcher cover’.

After hanging a banner counting down the days until the May 25th doomsday, they come back from ruin to have an “Emergency Reopening Sale”. Does still having an inventory of unsold overpriced furniture constitute an emergency? Just close the place already.

I’d say something about buying from a closing store, the hazards of not being able to contact anyone when a table leg falls off your $1,800 coffee table, but these places never really close.

Quite a display of “Going Out Of Business” window signs.
Followup. December 2015 – still in business. Faker.

McPeek’s Timepiece Runs Out Of Time

Store with name that confuses me, sold nothing but little wooden signs with bumper sticker jokes. Quitting after 1 year.
