Jenny McAdams Says More Taxes Will Solve Everything

I blame the system that allowed funky old P.G. homes be doubled or tripled in size after a “P.G. Remodel” contributed to the second/vacation home craze.

Jenny McAdams, in a report to her council colleagues, said imposing a so-called “empty-home tax” on those who own homes in Pacific Grove but don’t rent them out or live in them often enough could bring big bucks to city hall and have other benefits.

McAdams Says Biological Males Can Get Pregnant

And they have a right to abortions.

How stupid is Jenny? No wonder she’s always a stable shovel full of ideas.

In response to the council resolution, P.G. resident Kirstie Wilde asked the council in an  email message if the resolution was “scientific” and made the city “look plainly stupid.”

McAdams responded to Wilde, first claiming that “trans women”— those who are born male but identify and live as female — can get pregnant.

It’s time to defund the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force, a scam that has not really added any value to the city it seems.

Are We Done

Jenny McAdams calls the cops when she’s called “Done”.

But a mere four days after the judge’s admonishment, a spokeswoman for the Pacific  Grove Police Department said McAdams filed a police report Monday over statements Miller made online.

“An informational report was created by the responding officer for documentation purposes only,” Jocelyn Francis explained. “It is the discretion of the officer on whether or not to write a report, and in this case the officer generated a report.”

McAdams explained the reason for making the police report.

“Concerned residents reached out to me and sent me screenshots of a post where Mr. Miller referred to both the court hearing and myself as ‘done,’” McAdams told The Pine Cone. “I do not know what “done” means to Mr. Miller or how I am “done,” but after review of the post, I was advised to file an informational police report to document this statement.”

Jenny McAdams Loses Restraining Order For Her So-Called Fear

And it’s a win for free speech. Will she pay for Dan Miller’s Attorney Fees?

‘On Thursday, Monterey County Superior Court Judge Julie R. Culver tossed Councilwoman Jenny McAdams’ request for a restraining order against former P.G. city councilman Dan Miller

McAdams claimed Miller had “harassed” her because, among other things, she didn’t like what Miller wrote about her. She claimed to “remain in a state of fear” from Miller.

But Culver strongly rejected McAdams” arguments, saying that Miller has the right to cover her in the newspaper.

Culver said Miller could recover his attorney’s fees, and the parties will be back in court in June.

100% Pay Raise Plus Full Medical For McAdams?

300 Forest Ave

Doesn’t she already have a full-time job paid for by our taxes? Must need more money to pay her property taxes on the Seaside house she owns/

Isn’t it about time for Jenny McAdams stop self rewarding herself on our dime and do something for all the citizens of Pacific Grove?

McAdams also proposed giving council members medical benefits. If the council OKs the raise and all seven council members enroll in the health plan, it would cost taxpayers about $178,000 per year with increases in future years.

“A family with two working parents and young children often cannot afford to dedicate the time required to serve on council,” Tomlinson told The Pine Cone. “In general, increasing pay will give more citizens the opportunity to serve, and this will increase the candidate pool come election time. This is very good for P.G.”

Must hate the news for also busting her for cheating on property tax?

She needs to take a tip from mentor Nancy, go and have some ice cream and ignore the facts that escape to the media. Must add that I was unaware that she had a full time job. So why was she looking to get a 100% raise with medical benefits?

In a document filed on Feb. 15 in Monterey County Superior Court, McAdams claims that Miller, now the managing editor of a weekly newspaper called the Pacific Grove Press, has been sending what she described as harassing emails and making calls to her employer, the office of Monterey County Supervisor Wendy Root Askew where she works as an executive assistant, as well as to city officials.

“Mr. Miller then takes his ongoing harassment to the next level and writes about it in his paper,” McAdams states. She claims his actions have “taken an emotional toll” on her and that she remains “in a state of fear.” She also claims he’s disrupting her work.

Miller denies he’s done anything wrong. He says he’s a journalist who’s doing his job covering an elected official. Miller writes a 2,000-word weekly column called “View From The Rocky Shores,” where he routinely reports on and criticizes city officials with a noticeable focus on McAdams. Since starting the column in September, he’s reported on and taken her to task for numerous items, including more recently missing parts of Council meetings or leaving early.
