Monterey County Registrar of Voters Linda Tulett, 43, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, after a Pacific Grove police officer pulled her over on David Avenue for speeding, according to PGPD Cmdr. John Nyunt.
“She showed objective symptoms of intoxication and was right at the [DUI]limit,” he said. Tulett, who lives on Funston Avenue in P.G., was taken to the police station and held there until sober. She was released just after 4 a.m. with a citation to appear in court on the charge.

Pacific Grove Police said the man was apparently a construction worker on the job. Firefighters said the man was on a house roof in the neighborhood of David and Buena Vista avenues around 8:20 p.m. when he fell.
Pacific Grove Fire Capt. Fred McAlister said the man landed on two pieces of rebar — steel rod used to reinforce concrete — which firefighters had to cut to transport him to the trauma center.

Worker Injured In Fall From P.G. Roof
A Pacific Grove woman shot at her husband in front of their home Saturday, police said. Amy Huse, 29, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Police reported that her husband was not hit with any bullets but suffered minor injuries during the scuffle. The gun was recovered and Amy Huse is being held pending $250,000 bail
