Jewell Park Clubhouse To get Remodeled

One of the greatest things that could happen to P.G., in Moammar speak. I remember seeing old men playing dominoes in there when I was a kid.

The house was built and donated by Pacific Grove Rotary in 1952 and has been a venue for community and support group meetings, including Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

In addition to meetings, the renovated meeting house will serve increased needs generated by the use of Jewell Park for the Monday farmers market.

  1. @ handy, yeah it’s fun to spy on the NA and AA lot, isn’t it, lad?

    hee hee

  2. I don’t really, but in the old days….Biggest AA meeting in PG is @ St Mary’s Church, which is more private.

  3. If you are looking for an AA meeting, there are over 135 each week on the peninsula. Can’t speak for NA. Look up http://aamonterey.org/ for meeting times. There are several hundred of us that attend weekly meetings in PG. Many are open to the interested public.
You are welcome if you have a desire to stop.

  4. Oh yes, almost forgot, we will be meeting starting this weekend at the PG Youth Center on 16 and Laurel, same times as they were at the Little House!
