An investigation started when Pacific Grove police arrested Stamm after the victim — now an adult — came forward.
Neighbors said they were not surprised when they learned that Stamm was arrested on suspicion of felony child molestation.
Eight of the counts allege lewd or lascivious acts; one count involves oral copulation with a minor.
Another count charges Stamm with dissuading a witness.
